Rap superstar Eminem is recovering at home after a bout of pneumonia put him in hospital.
A rep for the star, issued a statement, confirming Eminem did have to visit a hospital in the run up to New Years.
“Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home,” the statement read.
Since the story started circulating the internet, reports have surfaced that Eminem’s hospitalization was due to more serious issues. A source close to the star however told Access, that his hospitalization had nothing to do with his heart or a weight problem.

Japan's Sanrio Co is planning to extend the massively successful Hello Kitty brand from girls and young women to boys and young men as well.

The cute and cuddly white cat has traditionally been a feminine fashion brand but the company is hoping to "ruggedise" the cat for a male audience.

"The cute cuddly white cat from Japan's Sanrio Co, usually seen on toys and jewellery for girls and young women, will soon don T-shirts, bags, watches and other products targeting young men," said company spokesman Kazuo Tohmatsu.

"We think Hello Kitty is accepted by young men as a design statement in fashion."

The male targeted Hello Kitty products will go on sale in Japan next month, and there are plans to extend the range to US and other Asian nations.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jason Lee said officers had been called to the home to deal with a "family custody dispute".
"While officers were on the scene, they observed Ms Spears under the influence of an unknown substance," Lee said.
"She is now being taken in for an evaluation to a hospital.
"There were no reported injuries to anyone involved including the children."
Lee would not confirm who made the call requesting police assistance.

High-powered attorney Sorrell Trope filed papers today asking the court for permission to be relieved from representing Britney. Sadly this is the third lawyer to quit in Britney's custody battle.“A lawyer cannot simply withdraw from a case,” he says. “We will ask the court to relieve us.” A hearing is set for Feb. 4.
That will be followed by a hearing for Spears and Kevin Federline in the custody case on Feb. 19.
Trope was Spears’s third lawyer in her ongoing battle with her ex-husband.
Her first attorney, Laura Wasser, resigned from her case in September shortly after Spears’s divorce from Federline was finalized.
Spears then hired the firm Freid & Goldsman, but their relationship ended within days.The documents also reveal that five depositions are scheduled for January. Britney already missed one, saying that she was "too sick" to attend. Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan blasted the move to "Extra," saying, "It's not like fourth grade where you get a doctor's note and it's all OK."

Well, according to one of MediaTakeOut.com's faithful, White Boy from the first season of I Love New York and Sister Patterson were spotted looking very much like a couple in Sin City.White Boy was spotted in a nightclub in Las Vegas last weekend, drinking and partying with "Real", fellow housemate during season 1 of I Love New York. A nightclub employee said White Boy was spotted getting into a stretch Hummer, followed by Sister Patterson who seemed to be coming from a club across the street. Later that night, the two were seen again checking into the Palms Hotel together.



Apparently the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in reality television, as it appears Sister Patterson (New York’s godly mother) has found love via her daughters fame.
This picture doesn’t prove much other than the fact that she’s still busted as all hell and likes to sit on Whiteboy’s lap.
